Sadly people like this make it tuff for all of us to hold on to our driving privileges!
In most states, if you have an accident and have diabetes and have your license taken away, you can never get it back in most cases, even if you try in other states.
Driving requires diligence with diabetes. You need to test before you leave home and test once an hour, if on long drives. If too many accidents come from diabetes related issues, all of our privileges will come into question.
Sadly diabetics are discriminated against driving in most states. Many states ask: Are you a fugitive? Do you use drugs? Do you drink? and are you diabetic?
If you have polio, Parkinson's, para pelagic, among may other health issues, you are not put under the close scrutiny, you are, when you are diabetic.
We all have to work hard at driving safely, as several states are reviewing whether to allow diabetics to drive at all.
How you drive, affects what diabetic drivers come after you. Don't let them, or yourselves down!
Do your best to keep in control! Wink02
