Thanks Wayne & Julie.  I finally got it below 200 when we went to bed last night.  But I had starting coughing bad again, so had to sleep in the recliner.  I checked my sugar every hour yesterday and bolused whatever the EZBG said in the pump.  My temp basal ran out at 9:00 PM and I didn't reset it just to see what would happen.  Checked it at 11:00 PM and it had started up again a little bit.  Checked again at midnight and it was another 40 points higher even after the bolus at 11, so I re-set the Temp basal at 30% increase.  Stayed mostly in the 200's during the night but this morning it is down to 179.  Getting there, but slowly.  I just took my daily dose of Prednisone and think I will increase the basal up to 50% and keep a close eye on it all day.  HIGH GLUCOSE on your meter is very scary and unbelievable how long it takes to get below that.  My meter only tests up to 600, and it said it was higher than that.  If I can figure out what temp basal I need for sick days, I may need to program a basal setting to use in the future, as you suggested, Wayne.
